Tarun Patel has over 15 years of experience in urban planning, urban design, architecture and interior architecture. His body of work includes large scale projects such as development & master plans, development control guidelines, zoning, cluster / SEZ development etc; as well as internationally & nationally published individual architecture and interior architecture projects. His work is featured across platforms like STIRworld, ArchDaily, India Design World, Office Snapshots, Goodhomes, Inhabitat among others. 

He founded MISA Architects in 2015, the practice focuses on creating resilient and contextual designs that embrace and prioritize sustainability principles over commercial gains. Their portfolio spreads from contemporary and minimalist programs to contemporary and vernacular interpretations of the rich Indian design legacy. 

Since 2020, Tarun is also engaged with CEPT University as Visiting Faculty for the CEPT Foundation Program.
