This table lamp is designed for ambient mood light light and an aesthetic home decor piece. Since we were working with concrete, the possibility of casting complex interesting surfaces really interested us. Since concrete is otherwise known to be a structural material, we wanted to depict its beauty as a monolithic form inspired by medieval arched domes. Complementing the crude and earthy concrete tones, the brass finish metal components complements form and the function. The circle textured base acts as a holder tray to hold daily objects of use.
