Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, born in 1961 and 1963 respectively, founded their studio in Milan in 1994 after obtaining their architecture degrees in Rome. Their partnership, which has given birth to numerous projects ranging from product to yacht design, is characterised by a shared vision that never detaches architecture from design. Their idea of design includes experimentation, innovation and a synthesis of form, function, aesthetics and well-being. The couple collaborates\with some of the world's leading brands like Cappellini, Boffi, Driade, Flaminia, Foscarini, Ideal Standard, Poltrona Frau, Kartell, Zanotta, Zucchetti, Kos. In 2011, they received the Compasso d'Oro ADI award for the Kos Lab 03 free-standing washbasin, which for the first time integrated a towel holder.
