|
Section - 1 |
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1.1 Scope of Policy
This Warranty Policy applies exclusively to all concrete products manufactured by Aura The Concrete Shop India Pvt. Ltd., except the products under Ojas™ i.e. Retail & Gifting. And the Warranty period starts form the date on which the Invoice is generated.
1.2 When this Warranty Policy does not apply
Any Product Changes done by Consumer - Any field cutting, drilling, or physical/chemical alteration (like Acid washing & Substrate shifts) of a catalog product by consumer immediately revokes its warranty coverage.
When this policy is Void - The Concrete Shop®’s liability under this policy is strictly confined to factory manufacturing defects. That is this warranty covers Supply-Only of the material product. The Concrete Shop®’s legal obligations and quality guarantees cease upon delivery of the goods at the project site unloading point or ex-factory handover. All handling, site movement, sub-structure framing, mechanical anchoring, structural anchoring, joint sealing, and installation are executed independently by Franchisees or Channel Partners or third-party contractors are expressly excluded from this policy.
Ex-Factory / Ex-Warehouse Supply-Only - For Ex-Factory sales, risk of loss or damage passes to the Buyer immediately upon loading onto the Buyer's carrier at The Concrete Shop® premises. For The Concrete Shop® - arranged transit, risk transfers upon arrival at the designated site offloading point prior to uncrating. Offloading, site rigging, vertical hoisting, and handling are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. A Joint Pre-Delivery Inspection Log must be signed upon arrival; absence of logged transit damage prior to offloading constitutes conclusive evidence of flawless factory delivery.
1.3 Non-Load-Bearing Architectural GFRC Elements.
All products covered under this policy - including exterior GFRC decorative wall panels, screen/jali elements, interior wall claddings, landscape products, planters, and precast concrete furniture-are legally classified as Non-Load-Bearing Architectural GFRC Elements. Under no circumstances shall any product be utilized as a structural, load-bearing, or primary building support component/element.
1.4 ADITYA™ Concrete Shell & Electrical Exclusion Rule
Warranty coverage for products under the ADITYA™ sub-brand applies strictly and exclusively to the structural and material integrity of the factory-cast GFRC/UHPC concrete housing body.
Express Disclaimer - All integrated or bundled non-concrete components - including LED drivers, internal wiring, transformers, sockets, switches, dimmers, mountings, and light sources - are third-party fitouts and are 100% excluded from Franchisor warranty liability.
Any failure of electrical fitouts must be addressed directly with the respective component manufacturer under separate third-party vendor terms. Any unauthorized opening, re-wiring, or modification of internal electrical housing by consumer or any third parties voids the concrete shell warranty immediately. The Concrete Shop® will enforce the replacement warranty of the electronic parts (i.e. LED drivers, transformers, IP-rated sockets, etc) as it is given on product by the OEM. The Concrete Shop®'s sole liability for electrical failure is
limited to supplying a replacement OEM component. The Concrete Shop® disclaims all site labor, scaffolding, access costs, or dismantling expenses required to replace electrical parts.

2.1 Colour
Due to the natural characteristics of raw materials such as cement, inherent slight colour variations can occur within a single panel, between individual panels, or across separate production batches. As an authentic, environmentally responsive material rather than an artificial product, concrete skin reacts dynamically to temperature and air humidity, while its hygroscopic nature causes moisture absorption and uneven drying across large-format panels, producing visible colour shifts that are particularly pronounced on matte surfaces. Additionally, fresh, bright, or highly compressed concrete surfaces may occasionally exhibit temporary blue or green discolouration, which naturally fades under light and UV exposure - a process accelerated by heat, sunlight, dryness, and ambient climatic conditions - and please note that printed colour swatches may slightly differ from original shades due to technical printing constraints.
Minor variations in colour and tone are natural characteristics of concrete products and, as such, are not covered under our warranty policy.
2.2 Visual Properties of Concrete
As the panels are not chemically treated or painted, defects, dents, tension lines, efflorescences or flaws and textures may be visible.
When cement sets, it separates calcium hydroxide. This dissolves in water and can migrate to the concrete surface. When the water evaporates, the calcium hydroxide is returned to the surface and is converted to calcium carbonate (lime).
If this natural process is intensified by unfavourable conditions, it leads to deposition of calcium carbonate, which is visible as a white efflorescence. Efflorescences are a natural feature of all cement-bonded composite materials.
Thus the Efflorescence is a Temporary migration of free lime forming calcium carbonate is a natural hydration process. It is remediable via light acid washing/water flushing and does not constitute a structural defect, and can’t be claimed as damage or defect under this Warranty Policy. And the light acid washing/ water flushing, etc. methods to remove the calcium carbonate particles comes under client scope.
The surface characteristics described apply to the visible side of the cladding panel. Concrete skin sample panels can never reflect all of the above characteristics. In large-scale cladding applications, optical phenomena occur that cannot be detected on small sample panels. This Visual changes like tension lines do not affect the technical characteristics of concrete skin. The static functions and the long-term stability are not affected as well.
Any Micro-Crazing is treated as Non-structural surface fissures under 0.10 mm width resulting from moisture differential are acceptable natural behaviours that do not compromise structural integrity.
Pinholes are part of the Natural Beauty of Concrete. On primary visual faces, single pinholes shall not exceed 3.0 mm in diameter and 2.0 mm in depth, with a maximum density of 5 holes per 0.5m². Pinholes within tolerance are natural matrix characteristics and do not constitute defects.
