An airport entrance is the first architectural statement a city makes to every traveller who arrives. It has to hold that responsibility at scale, and hold it well.
At Jabalpur, that responsibility takes the form of a bold, arched façade — a single sculptural mass framing the entry and departure gates. Cast in GRG wall panelling and finished in a smooth white base, the structure gives the terminal a distinct architectural identity, one shaped as much by geometry as by material precision.
The form itself does the work. A wide, gently tapering arch draws the eye upward and inward, guiding movement toward the entrance the way good wayfinding should — without signage doing all the effort. Local motifs and regional artwork find their place across the surrounding glazing, letting the architecture carry a sense of place, not just function.
