An airport entrance is the first architectural statement a city makes to every traveller who arrives. It has to hold that responsibility at scale, and hold it well.
At Jabalpur, that responsibility takes the form of a bold, arched façade a single sculptural mass framing the entry and departure gates. Cast in GRG wall panelling and finished in a smooth white base, the structure gives the terminal a distinct architectural identity, one shaped as much by geometry as by material precision.
The form itself does the work. A wide, gently tapering arch draws the eye upward and inward, guiding movement toward the entrance the way good wayfinding should without signage doing all the effort. Local motifs and regional artwork find their place across the surrounding glazing, letting the architecture carry a sense of place, not just function.
