An industrial facility rarely asks for architectural attention. Function usually takes precedence over form. At Mother Dairy's Gandhinagar facility, the two were resolved together.

Set into a grey, minimally detailed elevation, a series of GFRC double-screen panels punctuate the wall at regular intervals, each one filled edge to edge with a fine triangular perforation pattern, cast in white and framed cleanly against the surrounding surface. The screens function as the building's ventilation system, allowing air to move freely through the facility, while giving an otherwise plain industrial wall a defined architectural rhythm.

The repetition is precise. Every panel carries the same dense geometric perforation, module for module, so the pattern reads consistently whether viewed up close or across the length of the building. Framed and recessed into the wall, each screen sits as a clear, deliberate opening rather than a utilitarian vent, functional infrastructure treated with the same attention to alignment and finish as any decorative façade element.

This is where GFRC serves industrial architecture at its most practical, delivering airflow and light without compromising the discipline of the elevation. A double-screen system, engineered for consistent performance across every panel, proves that function and precision were never separate design decisions here.

Not every project we build is meant to be admired from the street. Some are meant to work quietly, every day, for the people and processes inside. At The Concrete SHOP®, we bring the same standard to both.
