A tall, blank elevation is the hardest kind of facade to design well there's no window rhythm or entrance geometry to break it up, only a single uninterrupted plane facing the street. At Blue Club, that plane wraps an entire corner tower, and the answer was to give the surface its own rhythm through repetition: a single relief module, cast in GFRC, tiled across the full height and width of the building.
Repetition at this scale depends on the module holding its edge and depth consistently across hundreds of panels any variation would show immediately once multiplied over a surface this large. Casting the panel in GFRC kept that consistency intact, each module identical in profile so the facade reads as one continuous textured field rather than a visibly joined grid. The relief pattern also does functional work beyond pattern-making: its shallow depth catches raking light differently through the day, giving a flat elevation a sense of movement, it wouldn't have as a plain surface.
The grey, smooth finish keeps the texture legible without adding colour competition to a building that already carries retail signage at street level. In direct sun, the panel's depth throws its own shadow lines; in flatter light, the surface reads as a quiet, uniform grey mass a facade built to hold interest at close range and read cleanly at a distance.
